At a glance

Do you want to bring banking as we know it to the next level and contribute to the biggest digital revolution in history? Do you want to discover what new technologies can bring to our clients? Then ABN AMRO is looking for you!  ABN AMRO’s development engineers design and develop the next generation of applications. Whether it’s an innovative front-end or a robust, powerful backend capable of handling no matter what you throw at it. Building software is great, but building software for around 5 million end-users is better! While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you’ll be surprised by the informal atmosphere in which we do this.

ABN AMRO is required to monitor and report unusual or suspicious client behaviour from a money laundering and terrorism financing perspective. Transaction monitoring is the process by which unusual transactions and/or potential suspicious behaviour are detected in the client’s transactional activities. In ABN AMRO, the tool FCCM is used for Automated Transaction Monitoring. Transaction monitoring is an important part of risk management processes, contributing to the bank’s license to operate.
